Mears Home Improvement's 'Handyperson' service is for older people, or people with disabilities, to undertakes those small repairs and DIY jobs that local tradesmen don't usually want to do, or charge high call-out fees for.

No job is too small and there is no call out charge.

Services include smaller 'DIY' jobs such as putting up shelves and curtain rails and basic electrics and plumbing (plugs, lights, washers etc).

Our Handyperson service is an important component in fulfilling Mears' objective to provide fully joined-up local services that enable people to remain living safely, comfortably, healthily and independently in their own homes for longer and ideally for life.

To find your nearest service go to our Branch Locator and look under Home Improvements.
